| Blogging away from here... |

It's hard to maintain more than one blog.
It's even harder when you have some difficulties in understanding and using the components etc.
Thus, this would probably be my last post...but, perhaps I'll come back when I feel like it...so, peeps, if you're looking for me, try my blogspot address.
Ciao!

| to believe or not to believe |
| 06.12.05 (3:02 am) [edit] |

hah! when it comes to one's faith and belief, it's always been a very sensitive and taboo things to be discussed in public. Nevertheless, there are things that you think are true but only half or quarter of them are true.
I know a person who only believes (apart from his/her belief in God and the religion s/he's embracing) in whatever s/he thinks is true. Wah, that really make other people sakit woo! Try saying something to him/her, s/he would not listen to you. Though sometimes s/he knows s/he is wrong, it's the ego that keep him/her from admitting it.
Guys, if you admit your mistakes and say sorry, that doesn't make you inferior or less respectable. When you have the courage to apologize when necessary, you'll be respected for that also. Everybody has their own weaknesses lah, once in a while, if you do the not-so-right thing, learn lah to say sorry. I assure you that you won't die of trying to say 'sorry'.
If you believe what ever you say is true, provide lah a concrete basis for it. If you simply make a statement without any foundations, then there's no purpose to it. How can people have faith in you when you yourself tak tau pokok pangkal of your own statement, unclear of your own decision (if it calls for a decision lah).
Moral of the story - faith and belief should be based on something 'concrete'. The evidence must not necessarily be tangible, but rational and when it comes to religious belief, it must be backed up with revelation.
Kenapa isu agama dan kepercayaan menjadi isu yang sensitif? The reason is simple - many of us don't really understand our own religion, thus we choose not to discuss it in public, so that nobody will perlekeh our lack of knowledge in something that is soooo extremely crucial in our life.
Conclusion - knowledge is POWER and the means to remove the 'taboo-ness' in discussing the so-called taboo issues.

| I'm tired |

I'm no Siti Nurhaliza, and I hate writing/blogging using my first name in the third person pronoun! (Siti nak ucap terima kasih pada blablablabla...). Yeah, I admire Siti Nurhaliza's voice but that doesn't mean I have to be like her kan.
I'm tired of being who I am not. I'm tired of trying to run away from everybody, from my aunty's comments about my blog, about what I think of life, about my bad days, my foul mood, my harsh language.
So, from now on...I'll blog as myself again, although I'm using this pseudonym here, it's just for the purpose of having just another name. I'm still me and that's it.
Btw, if you're looking for alia zul from http://lieawulf.blogspot.com" title="http://lieawulf.blogspot.com" target="_blank"http://lieawulf.blogspot.com - well, guess what, you've come to the correct address.
Why am I in a foul mood today? No, I'm not. I've just visited my fren's blog http://crazynweird.blogspot.com" title="http://crazynweird.blogspot.com" target="_blank"http://crazynweird.blogspot.c..., and I am so jaki (it's a Malay word for jealous) because he can speak his mind there and nobody minds his language or whatever.
My tone could be harsh sometimes, but I don't talk dirty things. Once in a while I curse people, that's it.
Phew, now that I've let that out...I think I'd be in a better mood for the rest of the week.
Have a great weekend ahead guys!

| last day of camp |
| 06.02.05 (11:09 pm) [edit] |
|
today is the last day for the educational camp. oggie had a good time during this camp and hope to participate again (as a fascilitator) next year.
oggie sent an email to them. oggie wants them to be more prepared for next week. oggie feels so disheartened by their cincai attitude. oggie think if they want to educate the kids, the need to check themselves first. and make there's food for the kids who're participating in the programme.
oggie thinks we have to understand the kid's psychology. food is a big attraction to them. every time oggie goes to a programme, event or seminar, one of the most memorable thing would be the food. yes, like kali and kohol, oggie still remembers makcik bingkor's greasy almost burnt mee goreng.
for the committee members and the fascilitators for the programme next week, oggie wishes you tonnes of luck.
and for oggie's DYMM Agong, oggie wishes you a happy birthday. may you be blessed throughout your life and be guided in your administration by Allah.
have a great weekend friends!

| parents, kids, and educational camps |
| 06.01.05 (10:42 pm) [edit] |
|
they organized an educational camp, for primary school kids. they charged the parents rm30 per head. and they asked their friends to be the fascilitator. so, oggie agreed to help.
on the first day, oggie was surprised to learn that they didn't prepare any snack for the kids. although it's a 2-hour session (every weekdays, for one week), oggie was sure that the kids were pretty hungry. snack guys, is important! especially when you want the kids to pay more attention - it's like a reward for their good behaviour. oggie was frustrated.
oggie went back home and called a friend. told her to straighten up things. she said she wasn't controlling the account book, but she might be able to talk to the one in charge. she said they will buy some snack for the kids. the next day, oggie bought three packs of biscuits, in case they forgot to bring the snack. oggie was right, they haven't bought anything.
oggie feels sick with them. why do they organize a camp when they are not fully prepared for it. this is not a cincai business. you want to educate the kids, share some valuable experience and knowledge with the kids, so you must be willing to sacrifice certain things.
oggie thinks they just want to make money. oggie knows it's not good to have negative assumptions on people, but they had given a very bad impression from the very beginning. oggie just can't help it.
oggie hope they will perform better next week.
if you desperately need money, open a stall and sell something. you shouldn't take advantage on kids and their parents
PARENTS: Well, it's better if we send them to this camp at least they won't be bored staying at home.
KIDS: I can meet my friends there.
ORGANIZER: $$$$$$&nb sp;

| oggie on bloggie |
| 06.01.05 (10:07 pm) [edit] |
|
blogging is no new word for oggie, but oggie is a new name in the blogging word. oggie's old name has proven to be able to summon thunderstorm and hurricane in oggie's small village, thus the name bearer has decided to become oggie in the blogging arena.
the name bearer had a great blog for three years, but when an overly-concerned person visited the blog and started giving the name bearer lengthy lecturers on how to conduct oneself, how not to expose oneself, how not to mencemar duli and the list went on, the name bearer had to let go of the former blog, and resorted to this new blog and new name. hence oggie was born.
name can be changed at any time, and yes there are many consequences that will entail the change. however, identity and individuality can never be changed. the name bearer will now have a new name, but the old heart and mind that will continuously grow side by side with maturity.
oggie will be more careful in blogging, but will never succumb to prejudice, and imprisonment of one's thoughts and opinion.
that's it about oggie and the name bearer's personal life. oggie needs to start kick in information and blog about good stuff.
blog ya later peeps!
